Alex Ranaldo is a young drumming prodigy, born with rhythm and music in his veins. He began playing the drums at just two years old, and by six, he was already performing on major stages, displaying an exceptional mastery and natural connection with the instrument well beyond his years.

Now 18, Alex is in his fourth year at the Music High School and his second year at the Conservatory, where he is majoring in Jazz Drums. Since 2013, he has studied under Maestro Alessandro Napolitano, earning a Diploma in Modern Drums from the London College of Music in London.

With more than 600 live performances across Italy and Europe, Alex has shared the stage with prominent national and international artists. He has been featured at major events such as the Sofia Drum Fest, where he performed alongside Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, and Drum 200, where his technical brilliance and stage charisma drew praise from legendary drummer Dave Weckl.

Alex’s extraordinary talent has been recognized in numerous national and international competitions, where he has achieved over 20 first-place awards. In 2020, he earned the title of Best Drummer in the World (Junior Category) at the Drum Off Global competition in Canada, and was named Italian Ambassador to the World – Music Category. The following year, he won the Tour Music Fest in San Marino.

A dynamic fusion drummer with exceptional versatility, Alex seamlessly transitions between pop, rock, and jazz styles, blending technique, groove, and artistic sensitivity into a distinctive and mature musical expression.

Today, Alex Ranaldo stands out as one of the youngest and most promising drummers in Italy—an artist driven by passion, energy, and unwavering dedication to his craft.
