Junior Step Course

(from 7 years up to 9 years)

The Junior Step Course develops the listening, singing and playing skills achieved on the Junior Step Fundamental Course. It also develops a fuller understanding of harmony and creativity through listening and playing. The course will

• build keyboard technique, music reading skills and theory.

• encourage self-expression and develop the ability to create own music through improvisation and composition.

• guide children to musical independency along to their growth to school age

After the Junior Step Course the children can join the Junior Advanced Course.

Who can take part? Children of 7 to 9 years of age who previously attended the Junior Step Fundamental Course

Time of lessons: 60 minutes

Length of course: 2 years

Size of group: 6-10 children
