'Sharing Passion & Performance' at Musikmesse 2015 – Yamaha once again proves its dedication to the World of Music

We will be showcasing our very latest product releases, services and technologies as well as some truly beautiful and stunning design studies. Joining us in the Hall Forum for the very first time, our brothers and sisters of Line 6 use up the opportunity to display also their latest developments. Further, we also invite our customers to share their very own interpretation of Passion & Performance for Music and to participate in our big pan-European Piano b-Series 10th Anniversary Video-Competition.

The new products and services that Yamaha will introduce at Musikmesse 2015 perfectly embody the company’s new corporate slogan, “Sharing Passion & Performance”, which embraces Yamaha staff, dealers, end-users and artists. At Musikmesse 2015, Yamaha aims to give guests an inspirational and exciting musical experience and show that although the European economic situation remains unclear, Yamaha will continue to contribute to the development of Europe’s musical instrument industry.


Yamaha's main display for Musical Instruments is in the hall “Forum”. All the latest Yamaha innovations in the field of Commercial Audio are showcased in the Hall 8.0 at the Prolight + Sound 2015 exhibition.

Yamaha will also present a series of entertaining videos directly from our booth throughout the show at http://europe.yamaha.com/messe/ (English site) and http://de.yamaha.com/messe/ (German site). We will provide all details of our latest models, product interview videos and pictures, background info from our product specialists and artists as well as digital catalogues for download. Further, a new social media “hub” page built into the Musikmesse special page will offer direct info from various facebook profile pages from across the EU curated on a single page.


TransAcoustic™ Piano. An acoustic piano with a volume control, or a digital piano with strings? Yamaha's latest development stretches the imagination and opens up a whole new world of possibilities. Yamaha expands the CX and YUS Series with the new TransAcoustic™ models C3X-TA, C1XTA and YUS5S-TA, YUS3S-TA and YUS1-TA.

The b-Series 10th Anniversary Video Contest. The b-Series, like all Yamaha pianos, are instruments of extraordinary, natural beauty, combining art, craftsmanship and technology. We celebrate the b Series 10th birthday and invite all players of a b Series model from across Europe to participate in our big Pan-EU fun video competition. Bösendorfer presents the beautiful Cocteau Limited Edition. The creation of this model is the result of a collaboration between Bösendorfer, Menton Music Festival and the Menton Museum Jean Cocteau. Available in a numbered limited edition of 12 and in 200 and 214 sizes (185 by special order). This exclusive grand piano can be ordered in either black or white polyester with chrome fittings and silver colored frame.

Digital Pianos and Keyboards

Arius/YDP Digital Pianos. A digital piano with satisfactory and comfortable piano quality in a slim cabinet, Yamaha presents the new YDP-S52.

P-Series Digital Pianos. Yamaha's compact and stylish Digital Pianos. The P Series gives you the dynamic, high-quality sound and natural piano touch response you expect from Yamaha – we present two new Digital Pianos from our well known P-Series, the P-115 and the P-45.

Portable Keyboards. Yamaha releases two new portable models. The PSR-E253 is an ideal first keyboard for aspiring musicians who are just starting out. And the PSR-E353 with great sound and versatile performance functions. A portable keyboard for musicians of all levels.

New Headphone models. Our very latest three open-air headphones with a neutral tone palette for faithful reproduction of digital musical instrument sound: HPH-150, HPH-100 and HPH-50.


Acoustic Drums. Akira Jimbo Acoustic Signature Snare Drum. To commemorate a rewarding 35-year partnership, Yamaha has collaborated with Akira Jimbo, one of the world’s most renowned drummers, to develop the Akira Jimbo signature snare drum YSS-1450AJ. Limited to 50 pieces in Europe (350 pieces worldwide)

Electric Drums. The new DTX582K features the all new compact kick pad KP-100. Together with the well-known RS502 Rack System and the DTX502 module it offers superb sound quality, highly expressive playability and user-friendly functionality in a range of familiar kit configurations affordable for drummers of all levels.

Silent Guitar. SLG200 Series.These guitars have been developed to be a genuine companion whatever your core needs are as a guitarist. Band & Orchestra

XENO Series. The Xeno Series represents a fusion of craftsmanship that involves outstanding instrument design, advanced technology, and the experience, talent, and dreams of respected artists around the world. We now present 2 new trumpet models from the XENO Series, the new C model YTR-8445 II and the new Bb XENO Artist Model YTR-9335CHS II.

Custom VR Clarinets. Yamaha Clarinets are found in many of the world's top orchestras and feature accurate intonation and a rich resonant sound full of colour and warmth. At Musikmesse, we present two new clarinets, the new Bb clarinet YCL-CSVR and the new A clarinet YCL-CSVRA.

YRS-400 Series Recorders. Yamaha recorders have earned a high reputation from professional soloists down to amateur enthusiasts. Yamaha presents two new Recorder models YRS-401 and 402B made from the environmentally friendly Ecodear material.

TP-3300 Timpani. Although portable, the TP-3300 Series delivers fully professional, top-class sound. It features aluminium bowls with the same shape as our top-line models (TP-7300/6300/4300 Series), Renaissance heads, and hoops that all work together to create a  
deep, sustained tone.

Keiko Abe Signature Mallets. Designed in close collaboration with Keiko Abe, her Signature Series Mallets are designed to draw out the most from both the performer’s technique and tone from the instrument in compositions that require exceptional technique. These mallets are now available with birch shaft.

Analog Mixers AG06 and AG03. The AG series is a multi-purpose, high-resolution mixer and USB audio interface designed to elevate the creative, audio experience for webcasters / podcasters, gamers, mobile musicians, music producers and more. Yamaha presents two new models, the AG06 and the AG03.
