Yamaha has expanded the flexibility of its ADECIA conferencing solution by adding a pendant mount option for the VXC2P ceiling speaker, enabling installation in open ceiling and design-oriented meeting spaces.
As modern work environments evolve, open ceilings, high atriums and architecturally distinctive office designs are becoming more common. The widespread use of audio conferencing systems, such as Yamaha ADECIA, has meant these systems are expected to blend seamlessly into increasingly diverse spaces, while delivering uncompromising audio performance.
The VXC2P PoE network ceiling speaker is now fully compatible with the PK-C4 pendant mount kit, meaning the VXC2P can be seamlessly integrated into open ceiling and design-oriented spaces, where traditional in-ceiling installation is not feasible.
Along with the PK-C4 compatible VXC4 and VXC2F ceiling speakers, this expands the installation possibilities for the ADECIA conferencing solution. It enables more flexible, unified audio design across entire facilities, even in buildings with varied ceiling structures, allowing integrators and consultants to deliver systems with optimised sound performance, while not compromising architectural design.
Importantly, the new mounting option does not affect Microsoft Teams certification, the ADECIA automatic audio tuning capabilities or its voice lift functionality. Users can continue to rely on the same intuitive setup, consistent performance and trusted reliability that define the ADECIA solution.
By further enhancing the versatility of the ADECIA ecosystem, Yamaha is empowering system designers to create comfortable, high-quality acoustic environments tailored to today’s collaboration spaces.
